The occupation of environmental scientists differ from environmental consultants, with the
primary responsibility of the former is to develop the underpinning science and the later to advise
on the possible impacts and solutions.
If working within a company responsible for developing and managing the company’s
environmental policies, strategies and systems they will not fall under the consultant banner, they
are a better fit for Environmental Manager.
