The State Budget for 2023–24 includes a $47.6 million boost from the State Government for Western Australia's building and construction industry.
This includes a number of fresh attempts to boost local training and draw in highly qualified foreign personnel.
The extra money is intended to boost the State's residential construction workforce, speed up the delivery of the homes already in the pipeline, and increase industry capacity to produce new housing supply to keep up with WA's population growth.
